Abstract
The article describes an original residential therapeutic experience, organised along six dimensions (institutional, community, educational, psychotherapeutic, pharmacological and symbolic) aimed at a population of teenagers suffering from serious psychiatric symptoms in a context of first decompensation. Secondly, it presents a first follow-up study of 108 teenagers admitted during the four first years since the opening of the centre. The results give indications about the appropriateness between the aims and the tools developed by this pilot experience.
